OUR STORY
The EDIT Market is more than just a shopping event—it's a love letter to Scotland’s creative community.
Founded and curated by Kelly Conway, The EDIT Market is the natural next chapter in a journey that began back in 2017, when Kelly launched Super Market Events. At that time, she set out to create something special: a vibrant, accessible platform where small independent businesses could thrive, connect with customers, and be celebrated for their creativity.
What started as a handful of pop-up markets quickly grew into one of Glasgow’s most loved independent events, drawing thousands of people to venues all across the city.

Then came 2020, and everything changed. Like so many small businesses, Super Market Events faced an uncertain future as live events came to a halt. But instead of closing the doors, Kelly pivoted. Inspired by digital art galleries, she created Super Market Virtual—Europe’s first ever walkable virtual marketplace. It was an ambitious leap, and it worked. Over 150 Scottish brands were brought into a fully immersive online space where customers could ‘walk around,’ listen to stories from the makers themselves, and shop as if they were really there. It was a powerful reminder that creativity and community could still thrive—even in the most challenging times.
Now, Kelly is bringing her passion for Scotland’s independent business scene back to where it belongs: real-life spaces filled with real people, conversation, and connection. The EDIT Market is the culmination of years of experience, care, and genuine love for supporting local creatives.
Nestled just steps from Kelvingrove Park, The EDIT Market takes place inside the stunning House of Toad CIC, a historic townhouse on Park Circus that has been transformed into a creative hub for small businesses and entrepreneurs. During the week, it’s home to designers, artists, and makers. On select weekends, it becomes the beating heart of The EDIT Market.
Each event is thoughtfully curated to showcase a fresh mix of independent Scottish brands—everything from handcrafted jewellery and fashion to artisan food, eco-conscious skincare, contemporary art, vintage treasures, and beautifully made homeware. But The EDIT Market isn’t just about shopping. It’s about slow moments, meaningful exchanges, and discovering something (or someone) that inspires you.
Whether you're a regular market-goer or someone just strolling by on a sunny day in the West End, The EDIT Market is a space where you can connect with creativity, support local talent, and take home something truly special.
At its heart, The EDIT Market is—and always has been—about community. About giving small businesses a place to grow, and giving people a reason to fall in love with shopping small.
We can’t wait to welcome you.
